MAY FAVORITES 2017

Happy Monday! I know a May Favorites is a bit late, but I've been feeling a little under the weather recently and haven't gotten a chance to post it. But... here are some things I've been obsessed with during the month of May!

1. Riverdale
Riverdale is an AMAZING new show on the CW. It's a spin on the old comics (remember like Archie and Betty and Josie and the Pussycats?) which I think is so cool. The CW has taken it and turned it into a murder mystery, with loads of plot twists. It also features my childhood favorite Cole Sprouse. *insert heart eyes emoji* They just released season 1 on Netflix, so if you're looking for a new show to binge this summer 12/10 recommend.

2. Boyfriend jeans

I resisted getting on the boyfriend jean train for a while. I just wasn't too sure about having distressed jeans again (PTSD from the middle school days, ya know?)...  and wow was it so stupid of me. I absolutely love the pair I have from Forever 21. They're mid rise and kind of acid wash colored, so they give me 80's mom-jean vibes which I love. Overall the boyfriend jeans are so comfy and go with just about everything. 

3. Edible cookie dough

I mean this really just speaks for itself. I found this cookie dough one day and I'm kind of obsessed with it. By kind of obsessed I mean I ate the whole jar in like 3 days. The brand I get is called Just Cookie Dough and you can get it from Publix or Target!

4. Palazzo Pants
Palazzo pants may just be my favorite trend in fashion right now. I have this one striped pair that I practically live in. I honestly find no flaws to these pants. They are extremely versatile, from a chill beachy outfit to a throwback 70's look, these pants are easily styled to match whatever mood you are in at the moment. And just as an added bonus, it literally feels like you are walking around in pajama pants. What's not to love?

5. David Dobrik
My little sister introduced me to this hilarious kid a few weeks ago. David and his girlfriend Liza are #relationshipgoalsaf. He's an ex-viner who makes vlogs on Youtube featuring his friends in the most ridiculous situations -- added bonus Josh Peck is one of those friends. Also, all of his videos are 4:20 (lol!)

6. Morphe Pallete

Last but certainly not least, I have been absolutely loving my Morphe 35F eyeshadow pallete. Morphe released this a while ago, so it isn't technically a new product but I've only recently started using it (thanks Amanda). It features lots of warm colors, which is right up my alley. Interestingly enough, I find myself frequently using the top 3 or 4 colors not as shadows, but as highlighters! It has 7 beautiful matte colors along the bottom row and 28 gorgeous shimmers. And really, 35 shadows for around $23 is NOT a bad deal. All in all, I find it to be the perfect pallete for an everyday summer eye look!

 Just wanted to share a few more things with y'all today: 1. I'm finally done with classes until the fall (woo!) I'm looking forward to extra sleeping time, although I doubt I'll be getting much of it. 2. I get to venture up to Washington D.C. for the first time at the end of this month! I'm super excited to see all the sites and visit with some of my favorite people. Lots of things to look forward to over here. Have a great week, everyone!
